We are a firm believer in collaborating with other wedding companies when it comes to marketing and this site is part of that focus. We have exhibited at many wedding shows over the years and it never fails to surprise us the amount of secrecy that can occur between suppliers. We believe in shared success and networking which is key for small businesses especially during these challenging economic times.

Share in the growing success of the Wedding Stationery Showcase by listing your designs on this site. This site will always be free to advertise on and we intend to fund the running and maintenance costs through the use of Google Advertising which you will find on various pages throughout the site.

You must be able to meet the following basic criteria before your submit your listing details

• You can supply free samples of your designs to any UK address
• You place a recipricol link to the www.wedding-stationery-showcase.com from your website.
• Your website is complete without any broken links and you offer wedding stationery as a core business activity.
• We cannot accept listings from companies who are agents for other wedding stationery companies. I.e You must have your own original designs.
• You are an established business and your website has been active for at least 1 year.
  

How does it Work ?

Here is the clever bit (well we like to think so). Customers can select a maximum of 5 samples to be sent to any UK address by adding the samples to their samples basket. If one of your designs is among the 5 selected by a customer then you will automatically receive an email containing two special links. The first link enables you to open a specially formatted A4 covering letter with the customers address positioned such that it will fit into a standard C4 Window Envelope (or C5 when folded). A second link when clicked automatically informs the customer when you have shipped your sample(s).

We know many of you dont like sending Free samples and we understand that this can be a costly exercise (especially since Royal Mail introduced Pricing by Proportion .... the swines !). Here's our take on it. You are getting 100% free advertising and free leads from customers who will have picked out your design from all those on the site (so they should be highly targetted leads). Secondly we have put some measures in place to stop customers abusing the system including forcing customers to enter a pin number which is emailed them before the site accepts their sample submission. This lets our system automatically check to see whether they have requested samples from us before.

What do we get out of it ?

Three things :
1. We earn money through displaying Google Ads which are interspersed around the site.
2. We have our own designs on the site and we ship samples too just like every other supplier.
3. When a customer receives a confirmation email of their samples we display the latest 5 forum posts on our sister site Talk Wedding in the hope that once they have requested their samples they might like to nosey on over to this site and make it busier.

Other than setting up and maintaining the designs on show the site is fairly low maintenace because it is our stationery partners who do all the hard work in shipping the samples. Our interface aims to make the whole process and smooth and easy as possible.

Kim will let you know if we can include you on the site. We do have to be a bit picky about who we can accept and also how many designs we can list for any one supplier. We dont have any hard and fast rules but we try not to list too many designs that are similar to each other so we are looking for originality.
